Finding the right wire for remote start

I just got to the ing block and and tested all the wires. I have two wire that have a 12v reading when the car isn't in run or Start. The wire are located one is the first and last wire on the block. I have a that i cut and try to start the car and it will not turn over. I have in all 6 wire on the block. When i turn the key to run i get a reading on all the wire but two. But if it is in the start i get a reading on all of them. The alarm is a hornet 563t and is going on a 99 tahoe. By the way i just took off a alarm and hook the wire that they cut from the starter to starter wire on the new alarm.

There is a site at www.the12volt.com that is an automotive electronics installers site, they have several forums for asking questions and alot of info on vehicle security systems and remote start, whatever. If you don't find an answer here that helps, try over there. goodluck

DUDE. Make sure to power both ignition wires. If not, the truck will start fine but the tranny will self destruct.

Thanx alot because last night I got it to turn but it will not start up because the fuel inj. was not getting power form the remote. I had hook up Red constant 12v, yellow for the starter and was trying to find the right connnect for the ignition 2 wire. On my book it read purple is the starter side wire, green is starter input keyside, red is 12v input, orange is acc, pink is primary ignition circuit, red is 12v input, pink/white is output to 2 ignition circuit, and red/white is high current 12v input.
