Quick question: I recently bought 2002 Mitsu Galant. Few days ago I have noticed that my power outlet (located below cigarette lighter), cigarette lighter are not working. Also at night the LED light on my transmission (the one indicating position of the stick P,R,N,D, L3 etc..) is also night on. Can I fix it? If yes how? And if not is my car still under manufacurers warranty and can I have it fixed by the dealer under warranty claim????

when is recently you bought the car??

if u got it new, the warranty is either 36000 miles or 3 yrs whichever comes first.

or the newer warranty deal they got is like 100000 or 7 yrs whichever comes first.

i think the new warranty policy applies to 2003 and on models.

but, you should go to the dealer and see if you can get them to fix it.
