When will they put Duramax in the Suburban
Anyone out there know when GM plans to put the Duramax diesel in the Suburban? I pull a 6000 # trailer with my 5.3 litre gas engine and it does OK on the flatlands but I know I can't travel out west with it. I really like the Suburban over the Trucks so I'm putting off my purchase just in case.

I asked GM about that early this year and "they have no plans at this time" to do that. Bummer..........Steve

I have heard, but have not been able to confirm that the Duramax is coming out in '06 models. Until then, I guess we 'Burbanites will just have to salivate!
