Tie Rod and plastic rear bumper

Hello guys again:
Regarding the tie rod, I already purchased one ($73.00 Canadian).
Friend (Automotive technician at our college) will change it for me. He said that the wheel alligment will not have to be re-done.
Plastc rear bumper:
I 've got rear ended by Mustang a week ago on shoping mall. It was a quite big jolt. You would not believe, when I got out of the car and vent to investigate the dammage, the car which bumped into mine (Ford Mustang older model) had its signal light smashed, a dammage to his front bumper. My car had just a scratch (:-) So there are some benefits to plastic bumpers.. Just to let you know...
Merry Christmass,
Peter Solarik
Note, I am not using the politicaly correct expression 'Happy Hollidays', I still believe in Christmas. I am a big fan of president Bush and I was quite annoyed that he used the greeting 'Happy Hollidays' after his last night press conference. I thought he was more couerageous.
