Tuner exhaust without styrene (pics this time)

ok, i posted this once before but i finally got around to taking some photos.

these are what you'll need

the pen should look like this when taken apart

cut rougly an inch of the pen barrel (depending on scale, mine is is 1:18)

now the confusing part, cut away the edges of the pen tip until it fits in the barrel (be careful not to split the barrel)

i found that using a vise is best as you can slowly wind the pen into the barrel

bend a nail and put it in the back and you will have a tuner exhaust, now just paint it.


there, now you have pics and should be able to understand (sorry about the wait)

Thats awsome. Sh*t i got a civic model that i havent started yet. Maybe i should try doing somethin like this to it. Nice tutorial man. Pictures are bit to blury but i can get the basic idea

thats a neat way to use everyday items without going to the lhs, it might be a tiny bit out of scale, but caught my eye and i might try it out!

probably is out of scale to all you kit builders, but should be fine for diecasts (what i collect) or large scale kits.
