Removing Bumper - Chilton Question
I just ordered the Denali front end conversion kit. It uses all GM parts and transforms the front of a Yukon into a Denali. to save some money I am goign to attempt to replace the headlights, grille and parking light section myself.
If anyone has step by step instructions I would be very grateful. If not, I am planning on purchasing a Chilton or some other type of repair manual. Not having ever used a repair manual, will it give step by step instructions on how to accomplishing what I'm attempting? |

Re: Removing Bumper - Chilton Question
You bet. And that's the only way to go. I used it to replace my intake gasket in my 99 Malibu, to replace a timing belt in my 92 Corolla, on and on. I have been using them since I was a college student doing an overhall on my 1962 Rambler American Station Wagon!

Re: Removing Bumper - Chilton Question
It's worth having the manual. However, the sections you're talking about are actually quite easy. I've had mine apart at various times for one reason or another. There's a fellow member on SUV World, PAW, who's done the Denali conversion. It'd be worth checking out his gallery and forum posts on that site. Good luck!
