intakes

I am looking for an intake on-line i am confused on what to get my first instinct is to go with the k&n intake that has the pvc body to it because someone said that i will not take on heat like metal and chrome ones will. but i was jsut looking on ebay and i found 94-97 S-10 S10 Jimmy Xtreme 2.2L I4 Cold Air Intake System With Brand Name Real K&N Air Filter it says that it has a heat resistance tube with looks to be polished aluminum. i was just wondering what is crap and what is not. this is it if u wanna see for urself. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting

Re: intakes

i dont think it would, aluminum trades off heat real easy, so the cold in shouldnt be effected by the hot out, and if so, just buy the insulating tape that you can pick up from autozone
