weird starting problems
2000 gjc won't start for several minutes if you let off the key too quickly. It use to be 10-20 minutes and its taking longer and longer to start. Same problem also happens if you have your foot on the accelerator even a tiny bit. Never use to do this. Anybody have any ideas what it could be? Does some computer or something have to re-set if you screw it up? Thanks in advance for any ideas!

Re: weird starting problems
There's another post here with similar problem, I think it was the Crank Position Sensor.

hmm. I'll look into that. When we used a different key it seemed to be just fine. So maybe something is wrong with the key?

Re: weird starting problems
check the key the WJ use a sentry key system (that needs to be programed or need to be matched up to the sentry system to work properly)
check with the dealer. |
