Re: most reliable jdm products

www.hmotorsonline.com is the site that most people recommend.
www.passwordjdm.com Lots of people recommend this site. They have a ton of other JDM parts as well.
www.totaljdm.com Quite a few people have had good experiences with them.
www.inlinefour.com Personally recommended by a member named Ricochet. The also have mass amounts of different products too.

Re: most reliable jdm products

Hmmm...that strange about the GSR with 230hp. Maybe they're selling a built motor or something, or it's just a major error. But yeah Spoon engines are not made for drag racing and they are expensive as hell.

Re: most reliable jdm products

Naw man. You're not going to get 180hp at the wheels with just the motor swap, it's 180 at the crank.
And you still will need to buy the axles, shiftlinkage, and mounts/mount bracket. that's why the other sites are a little more expensive, because those things are included with their swaps.

Re: most reliable jdm products

yeh some sites are giving it with shift linkage and axles..some not...the ones that are not..like jdm source..said about $150 for both combined

some sites are giving out hasport mounts and all that...

when i get the swap i'll make sure to get everything..pay whatever extra i'll need..
or i'll get the mounts separate..
but def. gonna get the shift linkage and the axles with the swap..

i probably won't do anything as expensive until i go for turbo...and that'll be a while..got a few months before the season starts anyway

Flash Options is from Malaysia and they take like 6 weeks to ship your motor. My brother's girlfriend made a purchase from them for a Sir II and they ended up just shipping her the SiR.
PasswordJDM is definately good, I've done business with them for about 2.5 years. They lost a good employee, but Leo is there and he's about the only one I think is reputable.
Inline4 is expensive off the wahzoo.
JDMtheory.com is owned by one guy so he'll always be the one talking to you, which makes you feel better because should you have problems, we know who to talk to. He's a little expensive, but can get many rare parts.
