How do I Make a Mini-Me?
Hey,
I put a post on the general Honda "How To" section asking this, and would you believe, the first response was, talk the the 4th gen guys becuse it's a whole other world in there. Well, considering that was my first post outside of this section, I'm sorry to have strayed, you guys haven't failed me yet, so here's the question. I've got tons of mags, Honda Tuning, Sport Compact, and all those, and I can't remember if there was ever a step by step buildup of a Mini Me with the list of parts I should and could use. Instead of re-reading all those mags in hope of the "needle in a haystack" I didn't know if someone had laminated a particular issue as their holy grail or not. If not, I've googled it to death and can only find swap issues which I'm sure will come in handy but no actual step by step plans....anyone know where I can look? I've got a 91 CX but I also stripped a lot off my 89 Si before I sent it to the graveyard so I do have other parts available if it's not really possible on a CX....Cheers |

well, to do a mini-me with your engine you can put a vtec head on it. A d16z6 from the 92-95 civics. U need the ecu, head, distributor and such. Talk to Quixilver, He had one before he got his b18

This is what I went by
When you go to take the oil control jet out, screw a screw into the little hole then pull it out with plyers. http://crx.honda-perf.org/articles/z6swap/z6swap.html |
