Angry Water on windshield

I really do like just about everything about my 04 TB but I don't like how all the water on the roof keeps rolling onto my windshield when I stop. It always seems to wash down the entire windshield EXCEPT where the rainsense wiper sensor is so I have to manually (terrible I know) turn on the wipers.

Has anybody seen or created a solution for this issue?

Re: Water on windshield

that's the nature of TB being slanted with the rear higher than the front. I don't bother complain about his issue, I just flip the wipers. Anybody has good experience with the rainsense at all? My wipers are always on.

No problem here with rain-sense. That is one of the features I LOVE about the truck. I set it on the "middle" setting for sensitivity, and it seems to work perfectly. This is a stupid thing to check, and I am sure you have already checked it, but if the "sensitivity" switch is set too high, it will be always on. There is a "low" and a "high" "always on", so make sure you aren't turned all the way up. Hope this helps. In my truck, you can "tap" the sensor from the inside, and the wipers will turn on once, then stop...that is how I know the sensor is working. he he

Re: Water on windshield

Thanks markbair, my rainsense never worked from the start. I think I'm going to go to a different shop to have them check it out for the third time.
