hard cold starting
My 94 blazer won't start when it gets below 30 degrees. A shot of starting fluid and it starts right up(fuel).Whats been done ,complete tune up plugs ,wires cap ,rotor.Fuel pressure regulator now52 psi was 38psi.replaced leaking lines in intake.Has good spark ,the starting fluid makes me think it's fuel related. But what?? Runs great once it starts.
Thanks Russ |

Re: hard cold starting
Whoa whoa bro, he said he only replaced the FRP and it came up.
What about the fuel filter, ever changed? I would open up the upper plenum again and look for washing. Only installing the side FPR leads to the unit failing again.

Re: hard cold starting
CPI Blazers require 56-64 psi to work properly.
I would check your battery voltage output with the engine not started. Should be in the 13.4v range.
