Would it make enough of a difference to swap the oem stack shaft uot for a aluminum shaft and is the stock oem shaft on a 3rd gen 40" from joint to yoke ?

Re: aluminum drive shaft swap
you can do a few things that i know of, you could swap it with a composite, or an aluminum. some people swear by the aluminum, some people curse it out as being junk. id try an alum driveshaft, plan on getting one in the future. from the discussions ive seen everyone generally agrees that while it isnt the first thing you should do unless youre pushing mad power, it can still be a weak link in the chain...so why not benefit from less weight and quicker revs?

Re: aluminum drive shaft swap
I just got a 1LE aluminum driveshaft and swapped that out for my crappy steel one.
