Unhappy 1994 Transmission

Need some help. I'm losing trans fluid and see no leak under the Explorer. Can transmission fluid get into the radiator? Transmission fluid looks ok, the coolent looks like it has something in it. Thanks T

Re: 1994 Transmission

First thing to check is the vacuum modulator. When the modulator goes it will burn transmission fluid through the exhaust. I went through the same problem with my 94. Your coolant might need to be changed. When was the last time it was done? With winter approaching get your Explorer in top running condition. You will thank it later.
Good Luck

Re: 1994 Transmission

I have only had the 94 for a few months. The coolant checks ok, just looks like something is in with it. I will change it out on my off day, on midnights right.
