question about auto/manual

hey everybody i have a 1969 mach 1 and i am switching it from auto to manual. i have the tranny clutch, and everything. but im missing one thing and i cant find it anywhere, and that would be the clutch pedal and shaft. im going with the tremec 5 speed and every machanic i talk to say i need to go with the 69 clutch pedal assembly but all the classic mustang places i talk to around my area dont sell that. im not sure what else to do. if you have any suggestions or maybe know of another car ford that uses the same clutch assembly i could use insted. please help me. thanks you

Re: question about auto/manual

cant you just get a after market hydrolic clutch system and make the mount for the cylender or do the same with a cable set up the fabrication might not be fun but then you know you could always get the parts if somthing happend down the road
