Re: oil filter

Why do you need an oil cooler? Even if your racing it would be a waste of money until you go turbo'ed. Kinda like buying the chandeler before the house. Just doesnt make sense. If you really want to know go down to your local Vato Zone... pull down an oil filter, and measure the pitch with a micrometer. They should have one there for you to use.

Re: oil filter

Cant you just buy a sandwitch adapter? Thats what my buddy did on his integra when he had to have oil line to the turbo. It's pretty much a universal thread.

Re: oil filter

nah, the places ive found just say the universal dimensions and shit like that. ive seem both metric and standard dimensions so, i dont feel like guessing cuz im prolly goin to have to order it. i went to autozone and asked for it and the guy brought me to transmission coolers so.

Re: oil filter

Why is everyone against Autozone? There is a Advanced auto which is like 1 minute closer so i never bother going to autozone.
Also, I use FRAM Oil filters bc it is cheaper, I use mobil 1 synthetic oil, should i be using a more expensive filter? Will I see a longer lasting engine because of it?
