Exclamation lowering 01 mustang

If I were to buy lowering springs for my stang, I know it would be best to change the shocks as well, but is it absolutely necessary? I dont have much money and I'm looking to do it as cheap as possible..........Also, how easy/hard is it to swap out the springs (instructions)?

Re: lowering 01 mustang

if u dont lower them to much i dont believe u have to change the shocks. 1 1/4 inchs is the adverage lowing spring. U have to compress the spring so that will be a pain in the ass but other then that i believe from what i have seen and read it isnt to hard.
