rims

I have found the rims i am planning on buying in about a month. I am wondering what size would be better for performance 17" or 18"s. They are FR500 black rims at mustangtuning.com or should i get them in silver my mustang is black for now and when i am also getting a complete black widow bodykit with hood and a steeda spoiler I am wondering which would look better i am going to keep the car black or dark blue. thanks for any help.

Re: rims

well with performance the 17's for a drag because they are lighter but 18's hold the road better for conering... as for wheel color i think black rims with a chrome lip looks awsome on a black car... i think a blue car and black rims would look funny

Re: rims

well both would improve your handling over what you have now...so im not sure because Stang00 is right, 17 better for drag and 18s better for handling, but the difference cant be real huge, so id say 18s. if your going for all out drag though then your gonna want to have rims a lot smaller than 17s. tall tires are best for drag.
