Dude personly I wouldnt have gone with a xmod ( depends on how old you are and how much money you have ) but you should of got a real rc car. Now to get too your real question you have to get another batt holder and solder the wires from that to the electirce ( dont know how to spell it ) then add the batts. Beware of that you will burn out everything if you race it around too much.

C'mon guys, he asked a relatively simple and direct question. either you know or you don't, no need to chastise the kid for hid choice in RC. I was hoping everyone had gotten past this already, apparently not.

The same applies for a 6cell, but as far as I know, fitting a 6th cell under an nsx body is going to be a tight fit, but a 5th cell should do just fine.

Also, adding up to 2 additional cells will NOT fry the esc on stock motors, It's only an issue if you use a motor that pulls more power than the esc can handle. The only issue you will have is a slightly twitchy steering. I ran 2 AA Lithium-ions at 8.4 volts without a problem on a stock xmo esc with the exception of it getting slightly hotter after prolonged runs.

Check your bearings, if you still have the stock plastic ones, then it sounds like they are worn, if you have the ball bearings, then one of them may not be properly seated.

I own an acura rsx x-mod, and I'm going to do the 6-mod. Need solder, just ran out. From what I've learnt, you should get the all wheel drive hop-up option because it'll be hard to drive. I'll tell you how its like when I do solder on my wires together.
