Light / heat
I have a 2000 GTP that doesnt seem to be warming up in the mornings. This has been going on about a week.
Now the check engine light is on. Fluids are all normal and full. Could this be the result of a stuck-open thermostat? My warranty has a 200 dollar deductible. I'd hate to pay 200 bucks for a 210 (or less) dollar job. Thanks for the help. |

Warming up.......do you mean the engine isn't coming up to operating temp or is the interior not getting warm?

Is it bad to drive when your engine is cold? I leave my car outside now during the winter and it takes a good 10 minutes of driving to get my engine to 1/4 on the temp gauge.
