code 31

I got a code 31. would that be a map sensor, if so where is it located at

Look on the passenger side, just below the cowl. a small rectangular plastic device,black in color, has a three prong electrical plug, and a vacuum hose that leads to a white moisture trap, then on to the intake manifold. The MAP sensor it held on a steel bracket secured by an 8mm bolt to the firewall.

its a 93 geo metro. code 31 is the map sensor, right


a map sensor at autozone is $160. why so much. got one a few years ago for a daytone for less than $50. anywhere else selll them cheaper.

are you sure its a code 31? i see a code 33 and 34 for map sensor problems. don't see a code 31 listed. if you do need a map sensor might try local wrecking yard. if they don't have any i think i have a couple spares

positive its a 31 light flashes 3 times short pause then flashes 1 time, then long pause, then flashes 3 times, then flashes 1 time, then long pause, it keeps doing that
