any 4 wheelers?

My 99 has crossed the 100k mark and has served me well. I'm thinking that maybe this summer coming up, I'd like to give her a new posture. So I'm searching for info or feedback on the various suspension lifts available these days. Most likely I'll go with a 6" kit, since that's what's mostly out there. But I'd like to hear from anyone who's done this to their truck. Mine's a standard cab sportside Z-71, so if you have a similar vehicle, I'd really like to hear your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

6" is probably one of the most popular if not the most popular lift there is. Several of my friends have them on their Z's ranging from older body style Z to the new models. My friends Z71 tahoe is currently in the shop getting a lift on it as well.

Shouldn't really run into any problems with a 6". But just don't expect it to be problem free, as with any lift or drop there's an issue with everything, but usually not major. I'd go for it if that's what you want and like.

Re: any 4 wheelers?

I have a 6" RCF lift. I love it. It looks good with its chromed parts, and it works great. I did some minor fender/bumper trimming and put 315x75x16s under it. The pic is below.

i have 2000 with 6" tuff country with 315/75/16's only problem i had was some of the bolts with the kit were not the right size or length

see my gallery for picks

might as well do a 6" a 4" is the almost the same work involved and price

mine took 3 days by my self in my driveway that includes time spent running out to get the right bolts

was done 3 yrs ago and have not had any problems
