Idle Air Simulator?
I was looking around on dsmtrader.com, and saw a product called an Idle Air Simulator. You can see it on www.hesspower.com. Apparently its supposed to correct all bov venting problems without using a gm maf system. It tricks you computer into thinking that more air is in your engine i guess. What do you guys think of this, is it a scam or will it really work. The price is only $90 shipped which is pretty good considering a gm maf and translator is like $275. Let me know what you think?????

Re: Idle Air Simulator?
unless it has a way to sense when the bov is open it is a scam. IF, it measures the amount of air coming out the bov then it could theoriticly use that to correct the MAS reading, but its probably a scam

Re: Idle Air Simulator?
I highly doubt that anything Wess Hess offers is an outright scam. Doesn't mean its a superb product, but it wont be a scam. Long time DSMer, very trustworthy.
