98 corolla, needs help

Anybody knows why the light went out on the shifter where it shows what gear I am in.

This is really bothering me when I am driving at night. I cannot see what gear I am in.

The interior light is fine. I have light on the dash board and AC/control board. I just lost the light by the gear shifter.

I looked at the fuse box but I don't see anything that relates to this.

Please help.
