Weld hole in oil return pipe?

The arrow points to a little hole that makes my 1G lose 1 quart of oil in about an hour. Question is--after I soak the pipe in gasoline to clean out the oil and carbon, can/should I just dab a little JB Weld paste onto the hole? or weld it with a torch? I really don't want to buy a new one.

Thanks

Re: Weld hole in oil return pipe?

is this the turbo oil return line? if it is you should definately just replace it with a new one since if you restrict the flow at all when you weld it you could end up seizing your turbo from not having enough oil flow.
