Electrical short?????

For some reason my battery seems to die when ever i drive my vehicle . I just got the altenator checked and it was fine. I also just bought a new battery last week. The other day It started just fine then i stoped by the gas station and turned it off then all of the sudden the battery was dead. So, I got a jump and it worked just fine the gage says that it is charging at 14 volts. Then i got home shut it off and It did the same thing. I was just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem. I'm not sure if there is a possible short some where in the wireing might be grounded out draining the battery or something crazy like that.. Thanks This is for a 96 chevy tahoe

Re: Electrical short?????

check the connection and condition of your cables. A loose or corroded cable will start out as an intermittent part usually.
