Now tell me this is an "original".........
hi everyone
look at this folks, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...sPageName=WD2V it says factory built, but it obviously aint. look at the plate, what a load of rubbish, the garland has the 2 bits missing from the bottom, and it reads F.1 GTR, whats the . all about? and the part where it reads 1996, aint even centralised!!! now if this was factory, it would be perfect? am i not right??? forgot to mention, im a new user, and only just registered. |

The listing is confusing. I think factory built means literally, in a factory. I don't think it means that McLaren built it. If thats what you are asking.

Call me racist
Call me whatever you want, but the old saying buyer beware comes to mind with this piece. I just don't buy anything from Hong Kong. My brother went there a number of years ago and brought back numerous fake items. We knew they were fake and we paid him very little for them. I just don't trust items coming from China and Hong Kong.

The model is a fake. The model was released by Autobarn in America with an edition of only 50. I believe a batch were stolen and ended up in Japan. Autobarn have now changed the base plates and changed the box colour to blue.
