Another Civic bites the dust

So i'm ridding down I-95 today (in MA) and i notice a lowered civic, bouncing up and down like a pogo stick (cut springs), comming up behind me. He pulls up next to me beeping his horn signaling that he want to race.. I tried to ignore him but i figured what the hell, so i gave him a nod...He takes off and gains about a 2 maybe 3 car lead....I hesitated for a split second, then floored it.. i was already in 4th gear at almost 4,000 rpms... i caught up with him when i got to 6,000.. stayed with him for a second.. gave him a look, shift into 5th and took off... I was driving a 92 gs... with an intake and a exhaust...Now i'm not into racing.. don't really know how to race... But when a 4-door civic, with cut springs.. exhaust hanging off his car challenge's you.. what are u gonna do?? Oh and a Avenger tried to pick up in the action too but i was exiting the highway..... another civic bites the dust

Re: Another Civic bites the dust

nice kill. i raced a prelude friday after school. man that shit was soo ugly.. omg it had a big as wing (double wing) i just had to race it cause he was cutting me off.. so yeah his engine cant keep up with his loud muffler.. i dont get it why people put loud ass mufflers on thier slow ass cars. i mean cmon.. the muffler makes the loud ass sound but the car is barley moving.. wtf is that?

Re: Another Civic bites the dust

Haaaaahahaha. Reminds me of this Ford Probe I saw yesterday. The guy dumps the clutch swings wide into the highway, stands on it, revs to prob 8 grand as it sounds like its about to blow up. And me and my mom are actually gaining on it from a dead stop in her T-blazer. We werent even into the throttle...stupid ricers. And the best part was when my grandma actually made fun of how loud it was and how it sounded like a "really loud lawnmower" as she said.

Re: Another Civic bites the dust

i havent had a civic kill in like...months and months. Too bad, but really dont want to race until I get some stuff into the car and be able to go down to the track and break into the 13's or low 14's, and then slowly make it to the low 13's somehow. I beat a 4-door civic in the Toyota Previa van...so it doesnt say much for stock civics with fart cans. Although I HAVE gotten detroyed by 3 buslengths or so by a civic hatchback that looked totally stock in my GST...the ones that "look" or "sound" fast usually arent.

Re: Another Civic bites the dust

Nice kill ,the GS-T is the optimal car for racing on the highway or from a roll...nothing can catch it....

Hey my brother in Law is always taking care of hondas, but, last week. We Aproched a civic Hatchback, it looked stock, as a matter of fact it was some what banged up (diff color hood etc..) So my brother-in-law Revs up his GST, the guy in the Civic Yells I'll give you a head start and pulls back to the back of my brother-in-laws rear tire of his GST, Light turns Green and bam my brother-in-law was leading I looked back and I saw the civic catching up fast and then he just took off in front of us, this thing was fast and sounded Nasty like it had no muffler, when we arrived on the next light we asked what he had he said "I have A one Block Engine" ??? I still don't know what he meant I was going to ask the honda guys but, a stumbled across this post, just thought I tell you guys the bad news, It was embarrasing, but, oh well.

Yeah, the time that happend, I wanted to go find the biggest knife... Something like Jake's in his avatar... and run around until I tripped and fell on it. I was so embarrased, but I guess you can't win every time.

I live in South Jersey and I will tell you what. Everyone here owns a riced out civic. I don't think a day goes by that I dont pull up to a light and someone in a civic pulls up next to me and starts rev'ing thier engines at me.

Nice Kill in your N/A though.

You guys would have the funnest time over here were i live. The civics over here are all fake. Driven some of my friends and i feel emberrased for them. It would be like open season if you guys came over here. Cant wait till i become boosted. Its gonna be sweet, but for now i have to just deal with them passing by me. hey atleast my car looks way better than theres and my car has no kit to make it look good.
