Re: changing brake pads in x-type
You Have To Turn Them In With A Special Tool It Pushes And Turns The Cilinder Back Into The Caliper
Note That On The Rear The One Has To Be Turned Clockwise And The Other Counter Clockwise |

Re: changing brake pads in x-type
Does this apply only to the rear calipers or all 4? Also does Jag use a conventional ebrake setup or is it a drum inside the rotor hat ebrake assembly?

Re: changing brake pads in x-type
The rear ones are the only ones you have to turn. The fronts are like most cars

Re: changing brake pads in x-type
does it require a special tool or would vice grips work? also do the calipers require a hex nut to get them apart?
