I had a 91 that sat one winter and the mice at the wires so I had to take it off I got so mad I broke out the recip saw I got that one off alright, but I dont want to do that to wifes van mine went back together fine but after 3 days of working and garages wont tell me crap the ol recip saw is looking good again! SO if any of you know anything please tell me dodge wants 251.00 for a core and 175 for labor and I when I can get a core from autozone for 50.00 bucks I dont think I will be taking it to dodge. Re: No Heat!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

it is probably air locked like mine was. after the engine is norm temp and water flowing thru the thermo hose clamp it tight (carpenter) and place a catch basin under the resevoir. carefully monitor to not overheat and this will force the water from the pump thru the heater cores. you will hear it gurgling the air out. have the htr temp up to verify flow. overflow is normal and you can pour it back into the tank from basin after removing clamp. bob

ty sir I finally got the damn heater core out and i couldnt even blow threw it! That is some great info to know to because I hear these vans can be some what of a hooker to bleed the air out of. So thank you very much and if you ever manage to meet the people who designed the dash boards of these things slap them a good one for me!
