Squeaky suspension

Whenever i go over a speedbump, the front ssuspension squeaks like hell. Im just wondering what it is, the struts/springs are agx/eibach and are less than a year old. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Squeaky suspension

Most likely it's not the springs or struts, it's more likely to be a suspension bushing. If it's not completely worn or bad it can be easily fixed with some grease.

All suspension bushings should be sprayed with a multi purpose or white lithium grease yearly.

It should be inspected prior to applying grease to confirm it's not something like a bad tie rod in that case it's a serious safety issue.

Re: Squeaky suspension

Yeah i had a feeling it might be something different. Also, i have new rotors on the front wheels but i still feel a very slight shake in the wheel when i brake. You think this is related?

prolly not related, the rotors need to be turned on the car so they fit perfectly with your suspension.. i see this alot at work when peeps get aftermarket brake work done.. the squeeking im willing to bet is the front sway bar bushings what kind of honda is it?

Re: Squeaky suspension

Its a 92 accord. I just did the brake rotors in the front, but the squeaking has been going on for over a year now. Seems a lot worse when its cold out.
