ATI Sensor?

Does anybody know what it means when you get a code 25..something about the ATI sensor. My dad has a 92 chevy blazer, it is starting to have a hesitation to it and the check engine light will come on for about a minute then go off. He ran codes on it and it came back code 25. When he checked the Haynes manual to see what it meant, it says something about an ATI sensor. If anybody can help me out with this, it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: ATI Sensor?

That is a IAT sensor.

Intake air temperature sensor code Low circuit voltage (High Temperature Detected).

Caused by a defective IAT sensor which is the sensor right before the intake connects to the engine. Check to see the wire connection to it is tight and corrosion free and if it is then you will have to swap out the sensor.

It is cheap and easy to fix. Repair it though seeing your engine requires it for proper operation and fuel ratio calculations and timing.
