1991 prelude Si 2.0 4ws
i have a blown stock motor blcok, Im not sure what the stock engine for a us prelude, but what owudl be the best (cheap) swap for my car that would allow to me to keep my current accessories. soem have recomended the b20a5, will it fir right in with the efi and other things under my hood, and what block size if applicable(long or short)

well the stock motor for that prelude is the b20. however that b20 is not swappable with any other b-series motor out there, they are very different. in order to fix your car you would need, that particular block. w/o heavy modification you will not get any other b-series motor to work. you would just need a short block, and if its just the block that got damaged, you would just need the block, no reason wasting money on a whole short block.

The B21 was the original motor for that 91. A B20a5 will drop in and would make a better motor. The JDM B20a will also drop in and give you aprox. 145hp which would be even better. I just dropped my B20a in my 3rd gen with ease.
