Help buying a new Injen filter

I bought a Injen 1 piece C.A.I. for my 4th gen Lude and I need a replament filter. Does anyone have the part number or what size I need so i can order it ?

odds are its a 3in inlet so you just need to go to any auto parts store an buy any aftermarket cone filter, thats what i did an fits just like the one that came with my CAI

yes, but the H.P. gains will be diffrent with each filter since its evendently the filters design that gets the H.P., right? SO I should stay with INJEN

Get a K&N. They make washable ones, that's what came with my intake, they're made for higher flow and can be reused.

Hey, i have an aftermarket intake on my 1993 prelude Si, it was on the car when i bought it a few months ago and i was wondering where the two hoses that are attached to the intake go? one of the hoses was off and hanging limp when i first looked at, so i guessed where and what to attach it to. I connected it to another little metal pipe thing sticking out behind the engine( when looking at the engine from the front of the car) which the hose fit over, so i left it there. Is this correct?? Could anyone let me know of the proper placement for both hoses running from the intake. THX's.

P.S. Sorry about the extreme use of slang when discribing the engine parts n stuff. I clearly dont kno whats going on.

That is interesting since the short ram intake (AEM) that I got for my 94 Lude only had one hose. That one hose was near the bend closest to the back and connected to the engine. There was a hose however that I had to unhook from the throttle body (thing behind that engine that says fuel-injected). I think this is the little metal pipe that you were talking about. My intake doesn't have a spot for it so I left it open. I think it measures the air pressure of the intake. I hope that helps answer your question.

Ya, thats exaclty what i was trying to say. It was not connected to the throttle body which is attached to the fuel injection thing. I attached it to the throttle body so both would be attached.

Do you know if not having(or having) the hose attached or hooked up tight could be robbing power or be bad for the engine. Im guessing the guy who had it on before me didnt have it attached for a reason, and as you said, your short ram intake(mines not short ram) only had one hose.

I really am not sure. It seems that AEM did not think it necessary. The OEM filter assembly has a baffle underneath where that hose connected to the filter. I think the pressure that the hose measured was based on that. I kinda doubt that your intake has that same baffle. Personally, I would stop up the hole on the intake and disconnect the hose from the throttle body. However, if your car seems to run fine with it all attached, I wouldn't worry about it.
