international help wanted regarding temp sending unit!

Hello folks!
I'm having problems with the temp.sending unit(s?) in my '90 Lumina Van 3.1.
got the car just recently, the gauge don't work at all, the idle is at about 1500-2000rpm, O2-sens already changed. the fan runs constantly, looks like that thing was already hooked directly to the ignition! now is it true that I have two of them sending units? I only found one so far, the one in the back with the green wire (which is not there anymore), anyway could a disfunction of those sensors cause this high idle?
NOW THE REAL PROBLEM: even if I know whats wrong, I can't get the parts (down here in Belize), can anyone tell me the serial/order/whatever numbers of those things so I can try to order it somewhere and have it shipped down here?

thanks a lot
greetings

Send a PM to richtazz, he's a GM parts distributor. I'm sure he can figure out what sensor you need. Without the proper sensor info, the ECM will try to operate with substituted values, which could cause your idle issues.

If you guys can figure out what part # you need, I can get it for you and ship it.

cool that sounds good! I found that one @napa:
#MPETS4011SB
http://www.napaonline.com/cgi-bin/nc...4&prmenbr=5806
and it looks pretty much like the one I need.

now I went to a local part store and we found the number TX33, they also have the part(!!!) but it is not the one, so maybe its the other one I couldn't locate yet? (it has a plastic plug with two connectors right on top without any wire)
