My '01 Odyssey just passed 37k miles - out of warranty. When sitting in the car - no keys in the ignition - and I step on the brake (in preparation to start the engine) the parking lights illuminate and the bell rings as if the keys are in the ignition and the door is ajar.
This happens every time - and seems to be a relay problem under the dash because I can hear a 'click' under the dash every time I step on the breaks. The same thing happens when driving - the parking lights illuminate when braking - except no bell rings when driving. Anyone ever had this before? Brett. |

Re: Parking lights illuminate when brakes applied
Hmmm just a quick question. Do you have a trailer hitch on the car?
Im thinking maybe the wires for the hitch are either touching each other or something related. If not then we may need to go another route. |
