2002 chevy silverado wont start

ok heres the deal i live in nh so i wanted to store my truk for the winter so i put it away for a month without starting it then when i go to start it
it turns over and and over.. wont start i can hear the fuel pump working, checked all the fueses.. all good.. i am stumped n e suggestions? and sumtimes when it turns over it will just stop..

it's possible you lost compression. and the cylinder walls have been washed down with fuel. check the oil. does it smell like gas? pull the plugs, pour a little motor oil in each cylinder(1/2 tsp is lots) change the oil put the plugs back in and crank it up. make sure you start it outside because it will smoke for a few minutes. then take it for a good run and it should be fine. good luck

oh yea also i forgot to mention that my brother ran into with his truck and it bent in my bumper like 3 inches do u think that would have n e thing to do with it not starting?
