91 Throttle Body Spacer

I recently bought a Helix spacer for my 91 1500. In the instructions it reads to remove the fuel line strap with a 15mm socket. The problem is that the strap is between the engine and the cab with no room to work with. Anybody else have this problem and how can I get around it?

Thanks in advance.

Re: 91 Throttle Body Spacer

I put a Helix in my 90' 350, but I didn't need to remove the strap. The fuel lines worked as is. I do know what you mean about the tight space, however. I did a motor swap in the spring. I had to use a wrench to undo the bolt your talking about as well as the bolts for the A.I.R brackets and the top bolts for the bell housing. I had to use the box end and hook another wrench in the open end to get enough leverage to break them loose. It's been a couple days since you posted, so this may be too late to help...

Thanks

Thanks buddy. It's never too late for advice. I actually haven't had time to try since I created the topic, so I will try the wrench trick. Thanks again.
