i have 1 choice, new trd headers or new trd cat back exhaust? the exhaust would run about 275.00 not sure about the headers what would be a good price range for each? thanks

my opinion, get the headers, then go buy a flowmaster 40 series muffler and have pipe custom bent... probly run you cheaper than the TRD exhaust, plus it's sounds a whole lot cooler.

well if trd is what youre going for, look to pay a pretty penny. I'd personally go with downey headers.

im not sure as far as actual spec between the two. i do know plenty of people who have gone with downey headers and are very happy with them. the good thing about trd is its made by toyota, for toyota so it'll definitely be a good product, but damned expensive.

As far as pricing goes, TRD headers will run you upwards of $700 whereas Downey will be at around half that.

Cat Back Exhaust By Trd Costs About 800 From The Dealer And The Headers Go For About 1000 If You Go Through A Dealer. Better Off Trying To By Online Through The Internet...not Much Cheaper But Saves You A Few Bucks

I don't know of any TRD parts that are made by Toyota. Here's some examples:

The TRD supercharger kit for the 5VZ-FE engine is produced by Magnuson.
The Cat-back exhaust is made for TRD by Borla or Tri-Flow.
Thorley designed the headers TRD sells and various manufacturers make them for TRD.
AFE makes the reusable air filters that TRD sells.
