Too Much Torque for my clutch?
I have a 95 teggy with an Exedy Organic clutch. The specs say that this clutch can hold an extra 32% of torque which adds up to around 165-170. If I add a supercharger and have my torque at around 180-190 will my clutch be too weak to hold this torque.
Thanks for all ideas, comments and replies

Re: Too Much Torque for my clutch?
that's clamp pressure load at the pressure plate... but call up exedy and find out what HP/TQ spec limits are on your clutch..

Re: Too Much Torque for my clutch?
Hey man , I think your clutch is well enough for strength but if you need further assurance you can reach the technical assistance crew for this clutch manufacturer. Cheers!
