low fuel light

I have a 2000 silverado v6. Sometime when I am stopped, the low fuel light will come on even tho I have a full tank of gas. Any ideas on the problem?

Thanks

Frank

Re: low fuel light

It's the sending unit in the tank. This is a common problem and there are many threads here about it. Try a search for gas gauge and you'll find info about fixes.
