Does Anyone Know Where The Compass Unit Is Located And What It Looks Like On A 1996 Chevy Full Size?

It should be at the base of the mirror mount where it attaches to the winshield I believe.

Have you ever calibrated it or set the region ?? It tells you how to do that in the owners manual, If you don't have the manual let me know and I will look in mine.

Thanks thunderbolt but I figured it out this weekend. You need to hit the comp. and temp button at the same time for 5 seconds then drive in a circle about 4-5 times to properly calibrate it. Sounds like a joke but it worked.
Thanks, Mike
