84' flywheel timing marks?
I'm trying to get the familys 84' accord up and running. I just replaced the timing belt. what im trying to do is set the timing off the dist. The correct timing for that car is 18 +/- 2 degrees. i know that i should be finding the mark off the flywheel, but i can't see anything. would anyone know what exactly i should be looking for? this there just a punch or a numarical number that is shown? The flywheels pretty rusty and i can't make much out only the pointer. any help would be great, thanks

Re: 84' flywheel timing marks?
My book says there is a red and white mark on the flywheel. The white is TDC and the red is where it should be set with a timing light and a warm idling engine. If there are three marks on the flywheel, then timing is set on the middle one to the pointer.

well i did find the timing marks on the flywheel, for the dist. timing. there was so much rust on the flywheel that i had to use a wire brush to clean it off. It's funny now, every time i make a right-hand turn the car stumbles,(only right-hand turns) my idea is that the float level are a little too low and when i hit the corner it drops the level and the carb. doesn't get enough fuel. but if anyone else has a different idea feel free to let me know. thanks
