2002 Remove Stereo

Can anyone help me out with how to get to the stereo in a 02 Voyager? Didn't want to start pulling on plastic pieces and break something. Does the Haynes manual get into this? I have a haynes manual for a 80 Rx-7 and never mentions how to get to the stereo.
Thanks.

Re: 2002 Remove Stereo

I doubt the manual has this in there. I don't know about 2002 but with mostly all caravans that I have seen there should be clips holding the plastic on. Slightly pry at them and it should come right off. I have changed many stereo's in caravans and this seems to be the right thing. I will also mention to you that hopefully you have the correct wiring adapter for it > the ones that plug right into the van and into the back of the stereo. If you are trying to splice the wires together they are not fun at all, because what happens is you have about ten wires left over. They are your electronics wires for interior lights, automatic door locks, remote entry, back hatch button, etc... They will not work without having the ignition on unless you use the correct adapters. Hope all of this helps and happy listening!
