What kind of exhaust would you guys recommend on a 98-02 trans am? What do you think would sound best? And what about straight pipes(true dual)

Re: exhaust

duals sound the best. That single inlet dual outlet mufflers are junk.I spent good money on a single inlet dual outlet flowmaster setup, and took it off,and hung some rusty dual cherry bombs on it,cause for one it sounds better, and for two, those single exhaust systems just dont flow the same.

Re: exhaust

quite a few people on this forum would argue it,but ive had both, and the best single pipe exhaust flowmaster has, doesnt come close to comparing to true duals.I put on the single flowmaster setup, and it didnt run as good.It sounded okay, but i wasnt willing to sacrifice the power the duals gave it.,so i put my old rusty pipes back on it.

Borla makes a nice exhaust set-up that flows well and sounds good...it just costs a lot. Although, I don't like obnoxiously loud at idle...I prefer quiet at idle, loud as hell wide open.
