Unhappy Car bogs down when I accelerate !!!

I have a 1994 Cavalier 4cyl and it bogs down and struggles when I come from a dead and try to accelerate and sometimes when I get upto 55-60 mph it does it also. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me...Thanks

I would suggest getting some high-end fuel injector cleaner from Auto Zone. Also, only add that bottle on a full tank of 91 oct. gas. It got rid of my car's sputtering problem.

Check yer plugs for fowling, plug wire for any bad connections, fuel filter, injectors, and try the injector cleaning.. run mid grade and a bottle of that shiat...

yeah yeah!! FIRE! hah.. octane rules.. cleans stuff out too.. spray some fuel injector cleaner down your throttle body maybe.. take off your aic clean it out with a toothbrush and liberal amount of injectorcleaner or wd-40

just change your fuel filter and check your fuel pressure regulator.

Also had this problem. The ignition coil is about due for replacement. You normally don't need to replace the ignition module, just the two coils that sit on the module. Crawl under the car and they're on the backside of the engine. I bet they're starting to crack. Mine had one with a huge crack up the side of it and the other had a small crack starting on the bottom. I replaced both ignition coils and now car runs like a formula one race car! No more bogging down or running like crap in wet weather.

Mine did that and it was the clogged carbon crystals in the catalytic converter.

Try saying that 3 times fast.
