I put the jack stand about where the stock jack point is then use the sissor jack that came with the car and jack it up at a point where I can put the stand in the stock location. In the front it's farther to the back and in the back its farther to the front. Since I did this today here's some pics of my car up on stands.

thanx Gforces! damn, you weren't kidding when you said you were gonna clean up the wheel well. !!!

the jack stand that my buddy lent me today has a deep Y shape on the tip of the stand so it can't support on the thin vertical lip where the stock jack goes on. it seems like the metal just around there is pretty strong to support the weight of the car though...hope this is okay... I ended up lifting the frontend by putting the jack on the beam under the engine to lift up both front wheels at the same time. seemed to work okay, but yah, I am kinda worried about the jack stands...

so far, got the front right strut off the G20 and took it apart. hope to get up at 6am to finish up in the morning.

btw, is there a good area in the middle of the rear section of the
G20 where I can use the jack to lift up both rear wheels at the same time? please let me know.

thanx.

I don't know if the G20 has the multi-link beam bridging both rear suspension structures, but I was able to jack my 200SX's beam, but for some reason, it looked fragile and unsteady. I miss jacking up the rear diff on my old Camaro--that thing will never break.

Nahh he can't use the beam because he'll have a hell of a time getting out the rear suspension. Ken if you look under the car the ridge that runs from front to back should have the same notches in it around the rear that were in the front. Just look for those and you'll be fine.

gforces-thanx. I ended up using the beam close to each side of the rear wheels to lift one side at a time.

YEP, GOT THE TEIN'S INSTALLED!!! thanks very much for your help.

my TEIN setup:

2nd perch from the lowest setting.
soft springs
14 clicks from full hard (breaking in the dampers)

ride: very smooth and close to stock, but ride is about 2in lower on front, about maybe 1/2 inch lower on rear. the ride is very quiet, not like my TypeHA's and and damn, the car is much more solid now even at 14 clicks. the car feels A LOT flatter on the humps, bumps, dips, turns, fast turns, etc. hehehe.

after about 2 weeks, I am going to try 12clicks from full hard.

later guys, and again, thanx!!!
