Re: B20 Crank ?

You could do it but....there will be alot more vibration in the sleeve than if you had a b18 crank in there. If you only revved to like 5 grand then it would be ok but when revving up higher to 8-9 grand warping will start to occur, it already does on a stock motor but it will be even worse and the motor's life span will be pretty short.

Re: B20 Crank ?

If your gonna mess with internals might as well just get a stroker kit or get a b20 block and put the gsr head on it.

Re: B20 Crank ?

The B20B crank is exactly the same as a B18B crank. The rods are the saem as well to, the pistons however will not fit unless you bore that motor out to 84mm.
Basically the B20B crank will stroke the B18C1 to 89mm vs 87.2mm of the B18C1 stock.

Re: B20 Crank ?

Just use the B18B crank, but vibrations will occur...
huhmmm.... go to spoonsports.com they have balanced/blueprinted cranks or crower.com, like go for the knife edged cranks.

I was just giving some clearification, too many B18 comments with out specifing B18C or B18B

As for a stroker kit you can get one from Crower. I would stay away from this though, if you really want to increase the displacement then bore the B18C1 motor out to 84mm that will give you 1966cc as oposed to the 1797cc you have now, and you will keep your 1.58 R/S
