Wink 4.3 Rough Running Solution!!!

For Those Of You Who Have Had Problems With Rough Running 4.3 V-6 I May Have Found A Simple Solution. If You Have Completely Given Your Vehicle A Tuneup And Found Your Pcv Valve To Be Clogged, Your Pcv Vacuum Hose Which Leads To Your Intake Just Below The Throttle Body...pull It Off And Check It To See If Its Plugged At The Throttle Body. Take Some Carb Cleaner And A Small Vacuum Hose (washer Fluid Size)and Connect The Hose To The Straw You Get With The Carb Cleaner And Spray Her Out Clean...in Fact Disco All Vacuum Ports On Intake And Be Sure To Spray Them Out Clean !!!!

Another Problem The Throttle Body Has Is Cleaning The 2 Injectors. Disco The 3 Torx Screws On Top Of The Throttle Body Right Behind The 2 Injectors, Disco The 2 Gas Lines Behind The Throttle Body, And Lift Out The Pressure Regulator...force Air Through The Gas Line Inlets And Blow Out Any Crummy Crap....you'd Be Surprised Especially If Someone Neglected To Change The Fuel Filter...good Luck...

Re: 4.3 Rough Running Solution!!!

Never blow compressed air through a pressure regulator, you will destroy the internal mechanism and diaphram.

Spray in cleaner if you want and rinse it out, but NEVER compressed air.

The PCV line thing is cool though and I think I will do it myself.
