Re: Garagedioramas 1:24

Lovely dioramas, wilcomachiels.
If there's one thing I like most in modeling is a good diorama and you sure got some awsome pieces of talent in work
I've been thinking about building dioramas for a long time but haven't got any skill, I need someone to teach me.
PM if you want to give me some basics ideas/tips

You've got some great stuff there. The weathering of everything is beautifull. Really nice work. Maybe you should post some of those in the Completed and In-Progress Section. You'll propably get loads of replys on that stuff Maybe it'll inspire some other people to try it as well!

I have seen your work in some Modeling Mags (the Jaguar MKII diaorama with the engine) and they are amazing. You have great telent for relaism in scale.

I tried my hand at a few diorama parts, not a complete one...

They are clearly not as good as yours, but I would like to learn a few tricks. So if you are willing to teach us and allow us to ask questions we will surely benefit from your experience.

BTW - YOUR MERCEDED C DTM garage was AWESOME!!!!

Re: Garagedioramas 1:24

hi slk320

The Fujimi parts look great!!!
Building the garage takes some time but the tools are the most important.
Look at my site (project) to make walls.
I use at least 2 or 3 simular cars for one diorama

Re: Garagedioramas 1:24

Excellent stuff, the DTM garage is inspiration for my MP4-4 garage scene I have planned in my head.

Re: Garagedioramas 1:24

Awsome work. I love to build garage dioramas.
Where do you get your shop tools, power tools, and what-not from.
I know Scale miniatures (tools) has a bunch of stuff. But in the long run it gets expensive.
Would you mind letting me in on your secret.

John

Re: Garagedioramas 1:24

Hi John

The tools are from Fujimi (garage+tools 1:24)
And Italeri (Fieldtools 1:35)
They are not expensive Fujimi 20 euro and
Italeri 6 euro
The pics show Fujimi tools.
